After an exciting evening taking pictures of rock band No Eye Candy, I decided to do a small project this afternoon, called Swirls of Turmoil.

Nothing fancy. It’s just smoke. It’s interesting to see what shapes and forms the smoke will take.

A little bit of post-production work in the above picture, just changing hues and saturation. Cool?

    Cool.

Hope your wife doesn’t mind you burning things in the house … lol.

Haha Wilfrid, she was the one who helped me buy the incense sticks that were used to produce the smoke. The Nikon SB-900 was used to produce back lit to light up the smoke against the black background. Fun things to do with your flash gun :-)

Ha ha! So worried that u 2 will get fainted if too much smoke is around.
    Very creative shots!

Dora, I have not heard of anyone fainting from a stick of incense smoke :-D I am glad I did not become the first one to do so. Thanks I like to experiment with my camera gear.
