After an exciting evening taking pictures of rock band No Eye Candy, I decided to do a small project this afternoon, called Swirls of Turmoil.

Nothing fancy. It’s just smoke. It’s interesting to see what shapes and forms the smoke will take.

A little bit of post-production work in the above picture, just changing hues and saturation. [...]

I think it must have been either the excitement or the stress factor that caused me to stay awake at 3am on a Saturday morning, tossing and turning in bed. After some time, I decided to give up and do some web surfing. I checked out a couple of web sites and blogs that explained [...]

I had previously posted that I was unable to use my SB-900 as a wireless flash gun that is triggered remotely by the built-in flash on the D90 as master controller. It was something that had been bugging me the whole day like an itch that will not go away. Thus, after work this evening, [...]

Google recently announced that the entire LIFE photo archive will be made available on Google Image Search. I actually read it first from The Online Photographer’s article titled Playing Wilson Hicks, which eventually led me to check it out for myself. And thus I Googled for Google’s own blog, released on 18-Nov-2008, and finally found [...]

I want to be somebody!
Question is, how far will you go to get there? How much are you willing to sacrifice?
In James Patterson’s first book in the Alex Cross series, the villain Gary Soneji/Murphy, kills for [...]

The all-important symbol of the modern-day marriage proposal – the solitaire. Women just love it. Some flaunt it with obscene vulgarity, some quietly wear it trying not be to too obvious that they want it to be seen. Somebody even cooked up a silly theory that the cost of the rock should be at least [...]

Colin Teoh is my nine-year-old nephew, who also happened to be the only baby to have his ass wiped clean of crap by me. So far he has not shown any signs that he was significantly traumatized by that event. But perhaps I was! LOL! That happened years ago while I was in between jobs [...]

I can’t contain my excitement as I finally held this crown jewel in my hands. My buddy Wilfrid was nice enough to help me collect this piece of man-made wonder from the Nikon Service Centre (together with his own other pieces of small wonders), lugging 3 big bags of goodies all the way back to [...]
