This probably came a bit late, but better late than never. Here are some images I took from the trip to Bandung, Indonesia back in the weekend of 19-Jan-2008. The first picture shows Wilfrid’s “ranch” where we had a drink and some fruits that my wife bought.

Down at the Taman Safari where we had a great time, the lions were eying us with suspicion and probably harbored thoughts about eating us for lunch. The tigers were close enough to make our hearts skip a beat or two.

The white tiger was pretty majestic, as it perched itself high up on the man-made platform, while the leopard was taking an afternoon nap under the shade.

Some shots of the docile deers and monkeys turned out quite entertaining and I especially enjoyed the expression on the monkey’s face.

Great photos you have! Talking about better late then never, I still haven’t posted mine at my site yet!
I am so inspired to just buy a decent DSLR

Wow Mark, your animal pics look like they came out of the pages of a National Geographic magazine, I’m impressed!

Wilfrid, yeah it will be great to own one of those new DSLRs like the Nikon D300. That gives me something to work towards.
Lorraine, you have not seen the rest of the ugly photos I took. I still have much to learn and very far from the National Geographic standards. I would prefer to take pictures for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit… but for the lack of proper models and gears, I guess animals are the next best thing
