I was told by my friend yesterday evening that he will be meeting up with a guy who has quite an unfortunate name. I know it’s bad but I couldn’t help but laugh aloud when I found out his name. Apparently this guy is supposed to be VP of ST Engineering – Mr. Goh Lik Kok. Really, I can’t imagine how he went through his entire life without people making fun of him. He must have suffered quite a bit of grievances. And I’m adding on to his misery 
My friend told me he Googled this most unfortunate name and actually found people talking about Mr. Goh on the web. Check this out (not the only one). I might just let Mr. Goh know that it is a simple matter of getting a deed poll done, and he can have his name changed on his IC.
Then I found out this morning that former Malaysia football coach, who was fined $50,000 for match fixing, was called Chow Kwai Lam. It’s hard for the judge to be lenient with this kind of name, if you know what I mean…
