CNN reports today that Google Earth maps out Darfur atrocities. I did a Google search for Darfur and found millions of links on the Darfur genocide. Wikipedia, as usual, has a detailed account of the Darfur conflict which is a really good read for those interested in current events, or who have no idea what this conflict is about.
For the passionate or compassionate people, do drop by Save Darfur to at least sign the petition. You may donate money as well if you have the cash.
It doesn’t take a genius to understand the underlying meaning of the title. Some leaders of larger nations in the world, with bigger responsibilities give their services to the people of the world. It is ridiculous that the government of a small dot on the map should command millions of dollars per year, and for doing what? Tax its citizens. Mould them into robots. Censor the media. Right.
