It has been kind of a slow day for me. Somehow I could not seem to get my work done properly, and my mind kept wandering off to do other non-essential stuff (like uploading my holiday photos to the gallery… which are here, btw). I think I’m pretty much still in my holiday mood. In fact, I think Felicia and I must both have our minds elsewhere early this morning, when a minor “catastophe” happened (which I am unable to elaborate further here, least I incur the wrath of my wife, which will not be a pretty sight).

Anyway, I left work early and proceeded to Paragon as I had duly accepted an invite to join a gathering of ex-colleagues and friends, which was at 7pm. How early? Let’s just say I had enough time to sit down at Coffee Club and drink a cup of Latte, have a nice Tiramisu dessert, as well as read up some trash free magazines and scanned through a magazine on Banking & Finance. Yummy!

It happened so that one of our ex-colleagues, Jason, who is based overseas, is in town and I was quick to invite him for coffee after the dinner. We had an enjoyable time gathering little titbits of gossips here and there, as well as get some discussion underway about business. Didn’t mean to do it, but I ended up reaching home close to midnight, after dropping Jason off at his place which was conveniently along the way home. I think I could do well with more days like these in my life.
