Alright, I’ve finally made a movie using the shareware version of Fraps and tested it using Company of Heroes. My first movie on Youtube, and here is the highly explosive scene from the tutorial.

Hahaha .. not bad .. not bad at all. It is the same exact explosive, ground shaking experience I had with Warhammer … the same developer I believe.
One thing though, I hope Company of Heroes is not as tough as Warhammer (I got the the 7th mission and I sort of gave up). That developer has a reputation of creating unrealistically tough RTS games. I don’t even bother to buy the 3rd instalment of Warhammer cuz I heard that it is really tough.
Do keep us in the loop in how you progress in game. By the way, which software did you use to capture the video? Very stunning.

Just go to Fraps.com to download. The shareware version has some limitations, but should work for most purposes. Fraps will save the movies in the AVI format, so you may consider using either Movie Maker to convert that or some other free software for the conversion. I recommend VirtualDub, which is able to convert into DivX.
