My search for media law in Singapore has led me to this not very asthetically pleasing, but nontheless useful website on the topic. It hasn’t been updated since 2003, so with the developments in recent years of weblogs and podcasts, I wonder if anything has changed.
I note with mild amusement this article which is found within the website, on the 50 common errors adopted from the Straits Times style guide. It says
43 Raise, rear. Children are raised; animals are reared.
Frankly, the distinction is getting blurred everyday…
